International festival dedicated to electronic cultures and emerging artistic forms, Emergences brings together, every year in Paris, French and international actors in digital creation (cultural centers, art groups, research labs, multimedia production firms...) all gathered around a prolific and international artistic program at the crossroad between performing & visual arts, multimedia, design, architecture and electronic music.
In five years, Emergences has become a major rendez-vous of electronic cultures and new art forms in Europe. Famous for being a talents discoverer, the festival proposes once again an original, international and multi-disciplinary programme.
Emergences returns to its headquarters at the Maison de La Villette with a lot of festive surprises: two exceptional evenings of performances, concerts, installations and other eccentric shows, followed by two electro nights joining together the best of the European electro scene.
This year again, the festival develops arty ties with its partner of Strasbourg, the "Les Nuits Electroniques de l'Ososphère" festival, which takes place over the same period: simultaneously programme network creations and performances, digital experiments, live retransmissions and ephemeral radio broadcasted during both events.
